Mr Li Ka-shing expresses to Professor Philippe Kourilsky his hope that the Joint Influenza Research Center of Shantou University Medical College and Faculty of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong will advance breakthroughs in the prevention and containment of avian influenza, a highly infectious and threatening disease.
