Decide Well starts

17 October 2016

The first phase of the Project “Decide Well, Spend Wisely”, co-organized by the Li Ka Shing Foundation, the Hong Kong Council of Social Service and St James’ Settlement, kicks off today by distributing HK$5,000 to each of the DSE students from two of the participating schools, namely TWGHs Lo Kon Ting Memorial College and Pak Kau College.

Students may either cash their bank gift cheques at a Bank of China (Hong Kong) branch, or deposit it into their own bank accounts. The purpose of this Project is to encourage students to “decide well and spend wisely”, with a hope to help them face pressure from the public examination.

More than 5700 students from 51 schools in Yuen Long, Tin Shui Wai and Islands District participate in this Project. The LSKF will review the efficacy and effectiveness of the Project before deciding on any extension to other districts.
