The Institut Cochin and the Institut De Myologie are centers of scientific, clinical and educational research and a training ground for medical personnel in France. This exchange, which took place during the Year of Sino-French Exchange, further enhanced the ties between Shantou University and world-class research institutions in France and strengthened the university’s research and training capabilities.
Since 1998, Shantou University has partnered with Stanford University, Yale University, Harvard University, Johns Hopkins University, Cambridge University, Lund University, University of Toronto, Osaka University, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong to organize the past seven National Telemedicine Educational Symposiums.
